Greg Norton has been working in architecture and engineering for 14 years on projects for institutional, federal, municipal, residential, and historic preservation clients. Over his varied professional career, he has acquired knowledge in many arenas that directly informs his work as an envelope consultant. He specializes in evaluation of existing buildings, reports that summarize findings, and suggestions of renovations that marry classical construction methods with contemporary best practices. Other skills include detailing, peer reviews, code research, BIM modeling and forensic investigations. Prior to joining LeMessurier, as an engineer he engaged in site design, drainage plans, and permit applications for projects of all scales. Within architecture he has assisted in programming of institutional new construction, creation of full scale mockups for clients, design of NAVFAC nuclear-based complexes, selective rehabbing of historic USCG seaside facilities, cost-estimating for multiple scales and was design lead for a SCIF (sensitive compartmented information facility) expansion for the NHANG.
